Thrive Rawtenstall Becomes First UK Gym To Offer On Demand Fitness From iFIT And Freemotion
Thrive Gym Rawtenstall will be the UK’s first commercial gym to provide on demand fitness from iFIT.
It means our members will be the first in the country to have access to their innovative on-demand cardio training platform.
Freemotion provides world-class fitness equipment and will be the centrepiece to our £1 million fitness centre, currently under construction in Rawtenstall, allowing our members to maximise results whilst making fitness fun.
iFIT has been a leading provider of health and fitness innovation for more than 40-years, powering at-home fitness giants NordicTrack, and ProForm to create the world’s number one health and fitness portfolio.
The partnership with Thrive Gym connects our members to a global community of more than six million members in more than 120 countries, who burn 69 million calories and travel a staggering 700,000 miles very day.
“This is a hugely exciting announcement and a massive honour for the team at Thrive,” said Thrive Business Development Manager, Martin Flunt.
“Freemotion equipment is as good as it gets. It is truly game-changing and we will showcase it all at Rawtenstall for our members to enjoy.
“Every member will be treated to the Freemotion Interactive Cardio Experience on incline trainers, treadmills, ellipticals and indoor bikes.
“They can be a world traveller without leaving Thrive and virtually workout in breathtaking destinations around the world training alongside hundreds of top athletes and celebrity coaches who’ll adjust the equipment to match the on-screen terrain.
“We can’t wait for you to feel the thrill of an exhilarating cardio workout!”
Thrive Rawtenstall’s stunning, state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. foot fitness centre will also include Freemotion cable strength-training machines that are perfect for newcomers to functional fitness or season professionals.
These machines are designed to improve strength, balance, coordination and stability.
Additionally, most Freemotion strength training machines are also wheelchair accessible, making them ideal for members of all fitness abilities.
“One of the reasons why we chose Freemotion for our members was because of their progressive and accessible strength-training equipment,” Martin explained.
“These machines are also brilliant for anyone undergoing rehab or training after an injury.”
By partnering with Freemotion and iFIT, Thrive Gym members have instant access to 17,000+ live and on-demand workouts, led by more than 200 world-class athletes, celebrity trainers and more.
Tony Ali, UK Country Manager at Freemotion, said: “Freemotion and iFIT share aligned values with Thrive Gym to create engaging and inclusive fitness experiences for everyone.
“We’re excited to help Thrive Gym members take their fitness to the next level and reach their goals.”
