Thrive Gym’s ambitious expansion plans means local people wanting to keep fit will have no excuses and the perfect haven for achieving their goals.

Non Contract Private Gym
Thrive will maintain it’s non-contract, low cost approach and aim to take on the corporate faceless mass market gyms that are springing up around the country.
They ethos is simple: to provide the Bolton and Bury community with a friendly, welcoming grym that caters for all, and actually cares about its members.
Manager Paul Dickenson, said: “We are exceptionally proud of what we have created at Thrive Gym but the new extension takes our gym to a new level.
“We already have more than 400 sq meters of the very best gym equipment available but the new development will double the size of our gym and add some brilliant new features.
“The Box allows fitness enthusiasts to step into a dedicated boxercise area complete with boxing ring and bags, a huge free weights area, more CV equipment, a bigger studio and stunning pilates studio.
“The finished results will be super impressive and it is amazing to think that a facility of this quality is available to fitness enthusiasts, regardless of their age or ability, in the Bolton and Bury area is incredible.”

Thrive Gym was launched in April 2018 by two local businessmen Dave Lea and Alvin Isherwood.
The two were passionate about training and wanted a facility that reflected their own high standards – and yet retained the personal feel sadly lacking from so many corporate mass market gyms.
They decided to creating their own and so purchased and then transforming a gym they used that was located next door to their own business DSC Building and Maintenance in Breightmet, halfway between Bolton and Bury.
The result was Thrive: a stunning facility complete with resistance machines, cardio equipment, free weights, battle ropes, treadmills, virtual spin classes, strength training, weight benches, cross trainers, cycles, weight plates, kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, Olympic lifting platforms, HIIT, circuits, mats, punch bags, plate loaded & cable machines.
First class changing facilities with high quality lockers and the Thrive Body Bar serving nutritious food and drinks, alongsiide sports supplements and snacks provided members with a high end facility.
But Thrive remained determined to make their facility available for all and have retained their no-contract model that allows users to dial in-and-out as they wish.
Monthly memberships sit alongside three, six and 12 month packages provided at discount and Thrive provide free trials for potential members to ‘try-before-they-buy.’
