Thrive Gym Welcomes Cutting Room Barbers To Rawtenstall
Carly Nicholas is bringing The Cutting Room style to Thrive Gym Rawtenstall.
The talented hairdresser will bring her unisex barber shop to our stunning new health and leisure complex later this month.
The Cutting Rooms specialise in hair cutting, styling, wash and blow drys and will also offer hair products and accessories.
Carly has been styling hair in Rawtenstall for more than 15 years and is well known locally, having lived in the Valley all her life.
The Cutting Rooms
“I’m super excited to bring the The Cutting Room to Thrive and can’t wait to get started,’ Carly explained.
“As soon as I learned about the plans for Thrive I knew I wanted to get involved and was straight on the phone.
“The team at Thrive were brilliant and were so welcoming and they’ve built my salon from the ground up to my specifications.
“I’ve been going in most days, checking on progress and the whole complex is looking amazing.
“There is already a lovely family feel about the place and I have no doubt that Thrive will become a real community hub.”
Carly has been cutting hair since she was 14. She successfully completed her apprenticeship and has been working at local salons ever since.
She launched The Cutting Rooms locally and is now excited to expand the business and potentially bring in additional stylists.
Her move to Thrive Rawtenstall sees the The Cutting Room expand to a three chair salon with wash basins and a retail area.
“I’d describe The Cutting Rooms as a non-gender barber shop,” Carly added.
“Over the past two years I have mainly been cutting mens hair but we are unisex but I specialise in cutting.
“The Cutting Rooms doesn’t offer colouring or chemical treatments but, we do wash and blow dry.
“I love working with families and I spend a lot of time cutting children’s hair, including children with autism and special needs.
“I believe children are our future, not just our future clients but our future leaders, doctors, nurses, teachers. I will always have time and patience for children.
“I have a number of clients with such needs and I find it so rewarding to work with the children.
“Now, my new unit at Thrive will allow me to grow the business, meet new people and look to expand and I can’t wait.”
The Cutting Room will open later this month and Carly hopes to bring in additional stylists to work with her as she looks to grow the business.
Thrive Gym Rawtenstall will open from 8am on Thursday January 20th welcoming members for the first time after the completion of works, creating a stunning health and leisure facility for Rawtenstall.
