  • Do I need to have an induction?

    • When you join Thrive, we will offer you a comprehensive induction to teach you how to use the gym equipment. Although inductions are not mandatory our advice would be to make sure you have one to ensure you know how to use the equipment efficiently and safely. Induction bookings can also be made via the Thrive app, under the make a booking section, you’ll see they are called Welcome to Thrive (Inductions). Another super important reason to do the induction is that we cannot accept liability for any claim of personal injury if you use the gym equipment having not undertaken an induction with one of our members of staff, so be sure to get yours booked.

In short, yes. Obviously this will need to be addressed on a case by case basis. However, provided you have the all clear from your doctor, pretty much all training sessions, classes and exercises can be ‘tweaked’ to enable you to continue to train around most issues. We would advise that you make your trainer and/or instructor aware of any injury so they can advice alternative exercises where relevant.
